I’m writing today’s post in hopes that you will go and feast to your heart’s content tonight because I sadly won’t be in attendance! POKE Restaurant is headed up by Mychael Henry and provides Pacific Rim / Latin American / Asian fusion flavors to the hungry panzas of Buenos Aires. Their mission is simple: provide delicious food, cooked with passion and fresh ingredients to the people of Buenos Aires. Now POKE enjoys a weekly pop-up spot at Magdalena’s Party in Palermo Soho (Thames 1795, esq. Costa Rica) – it’s been a big success and I have to admit I’ve been dying to go for what feels like ages!
Tonight’s menu will feature: spicy pork bulgogi on gordita de cilantro sushi rice with pickled daikon and carrots, ceviche with mango, red onion, cucumber, cancha, red jalpeños and tiger’s milk, & sesame noodles wtih peanut sesame dressing, red onions, carrots and scallions. Unfortunately I have to attend a movie premiere tonight (tut tut, I am fabulous, naaaaht) and can’t make it. Please, chow down for me. Once I’m back from Thanksgiving in the US you can rest assured that I will be first in line at the next POKE pop-up, ready to eat myself into a food coma.
Here’s another photo post from the talented Amelia McGoldrick for more eye candy.
